A list of my dreams
Just a month away, I will graduate on my ‘Sintang Paaralan’. Until now, I’m not really sure what kind of work I will need for my future. I realized that when it comes to dreams, you are free to think of many things you want in your life, but what matters most is that you have to focus on one thing you really want to achieve. And that is my problem.
Why I feel this way? I have so many things in my mind and I can’t focus on what I really like. *sigh
These are the list that I want to be in the future:
1. Chef/Baker - I really love food. I love to taste pastries. I have a plan to take a short culinary course in culinary. However, before I study with this course, I should have a job that could help me in my financial needs.
2. English teacher/instructor/professor - I think I can achieve this dream. A month away, I will graduate as Bachelor of Arts Major in English. However, I still have to take some teaching units. That means, I have to study again.
3. Photographer - I’m not good in taking pictures but I love to see beautiful pictures. I love candid shots that could show how beautiful a person is. My older brother is a photographer and I want to be like him.
4. Language specialist - I want to be good in English though I really have to learn and improve myself. I want to be good in language and every aspect of it.
5. Painter - I AM NOT GOOD IN DRAWING so how can I be a good painter? I love colors and I have a talent when it comes to colors… to apply colors. I still don’t know how to achieve this dream.
6. Writer/Editor - I want to be a writer/editor in a newspaper or magazine. I don’t know but I love to write. I love to express myself in a written work.
7. Poet - Again, I love to express myself in a written work. I love poems and I love to create them. I’ve written poems in my life. Actually, I’m not good at it but this is where my heart goes… I know I will be happy on this thing.
8. Novelist - As I have said, I love to write. Great writers inspired me when it comes to writing that why I want to be a novelist. However, I never done a novel or even a novellete. *sigh. I’m still positive about it. All I want is that people will appreciate what I’m doing and I want them to create their own story out of my own story.
9. Food critic - I love food. And I love everything about ‘normal’ food (forgive me but I hate exotic foods). I enjoyed watching cooking shows or anything that talks about food. I love how the food critic states his/her opinion about food and I want to be as good as them.
10. Junior Trainer - I think I can achieve this profession in 2-4 years. I like the work of a junior trainer because it is actually related to teaching. All you have to do is to guide the trainees for all the things they have to learn about the company.
I hope I stated everything about my dreams and what I want to be in the future.
So where will I start? What will I choose?
